Here at Pine Bluff First Assembly, we are many things -
passionate, devoted, loving - just to mention a few. But
most of all, we are family - a family that loves God and
people.
Because the people make the church great - not the physical
structures, we invite you to become familiar with the people
who are part of our church family and celebrate the
ministries that you will also see represented.
It is our prayer that this will serve as a reminder of God's
incredible blessings to us, to our families, and to this
congregation. We hope that the few pictures you see here can
give you a glimpse of who we are and what we are all about.
Music Ministry It is the deliberate intention of music ministry at First Assembly to encourage vocalists and musicians to prayerfully seek God's personal anointing, to purposefully contribute to the corporate worship experience by helping to prepare the hearts of people to respond to the Word of God, and to powerfully facilitate praise and worship in diverse styles that will appeal to multi-cultural and multi-generational believers. Furthermore, these objectives apply not only to corporate worship services on site but also to various ministry opportunities that can impact our community and Southeast Arkansas.
In order to meet these goals, the purpose is never to merely showcase talents, though First Assembly is blessed with very talented people. Instead, vocalists and musicians diligently prepare relying on God's anointing and enablement and then minister through a variety of formats, under the direction of Pastor Floyd McDonnell. In addition to the adult sanctuary choir, praise team vocalists, soloists, and various ensembles, a worship band also ministers regularly.
Learning to worship God through praise and adoration is one key to a victorious Christian life. Leading others to do the same is also a great blessing. Involvement in the Music Ministry gives you the opportunity to do both! Pine Bluff First Assembly offers a variety of opportunities for you to praise the Lord through instrumental or vocal music. Regardless of your age or musical background, the Music Ministry has something to offer you.
